Ben Woods is one of the most sought after authentic Flamenco guitarists in the United Staes today, playing for Flamenco singers and dancers from Spain and the USA.  He is probably best known for single-handedly creating a new genre: Flamenco and Metal, by developing new guitar techniques and arrangements for his groups FLAMETAL and HEAVY MELLOW to the acclaim of fans and guitar enthusiasts around the world.  Always ahead of the curve, he even released a Flamenco guitar album of Surf and Spaghetti Western classics, and currently is developing his Flamenco chops on the electric guitar; something that has never been done!  He has released 14 albums on his own, 2 of which were licensed and sold in Costco Stores internationally, and is one of the only American Flamenco guitarists that have been featured in the Spanish newspaper 'El Pais', and Spain's Flamenco magazine 'Alma 100'.  Recently he has been featured in 2 issues of Guitar Player magazine.

In recent years, Ben has been fortunate enough to perform and/or record with such famous rock/metal artists as Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Marty Friedman (Megadeth, Cacophony), Marc Rizzo (Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy), Sean Reinert (Death, Cynic), Glen Drover (Megadeth, King Diamond), Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blonde), Mike Bennett (Ritchie Kotzen Band), Uriah Duffy (Whitesnake), and more.  Ben has released 10 albums on his own, 2 of which were licensed and sold in Costco Stores internationally.

Ben is proudly endorsed by Cordoba Acoustic Guitars, Godin Guitars, Ortega Guitars and Daniel Mari Strings.
